Welcome to the love you have been longing for!

Have you ever noticed how many parables in the Bible revolve around a wedding? That’s no coincidence! To truly understand why, we have to step into the wedding traditions of first-century Jewish culture. When we do, something beautiful begins to unfold. On the night Yeshua was betrayed, as he reclined at the Passover table—he did something unexpected. In the middle of the meal, he spoke words that would have sounded strikingly familiar in that culture. He lifted the cup and spoke the covenant of betrothal. So we have to ask: Why was Yeshua betrothing himself to twelve Jewish men? That night at Passover, Yeshua was not replacing Israel’s story with a disconnected covenant—he was reigniting first love with the Jewish people. Those twelve represented the twelve tribes—the ancient Bride of God.

From the time of Moses, Scripture portrays Israel not merely as a nation, but as the beloved bride. The prophets spoke of covenant faithfulness and betrayal in the language of marriage. And now, through his blood and body, the invitation of acceptance, salvation, healing, and eternal life would now go out to every tribe, language, and people group. The New Covenant was not a proposal to a new bride, but a lavish secret plan to unite Jewish and Gentile together into the covenant of Abraham—a plan that would stun even the powers and principalities.

In ancient Israel, betrothal was not a casual engagement; it was a binding promise. And now, the bride price has been paid. The covenant cup has been offered. In this very moment, he prepares a home and a Kingdom, eagerly anticipating the day his Father sends him back for his bride. This love story is not a metaphor. It is not about someone else. It is the message of love to you from the beginning. You are Beloved. The question is: Will you drink the cup and love him in return? The Spirit and the Bride say come! And the one who hears says come!

As you read, you’ll find practical steps to help you:

  • Open your heart to being pursued by Yeshua

  • Intentionally cultivate a deeper relationship with the Lord

  • Understand the Jewish people & the cultural context of the Bible

  • Choose love-driven faithfulness to the covenant you’re being offered
